Frequently asked questions

Below you will find answers to questions about carbon footprint reporting in Thailand and how our solutions help. If you have more intricate questions, please contact us at greenforceth@gmail.com and an expert will get back to you.

  • Carbon Footprint is the measurement of a company’s greenhouse gas emissions per year of production, typically in units of metric tons.

  • At Green Force, we have two products that help measure and automate your carbon footprint recording. Green Carbon is a platform that automatically calculates an organization’s CFO and CFP based on their activities. iMProX is a system that continuously records and sends purchased energy(Electricity, Water, Gas, Solar) data to iMProX’s cloud platform, showing the energy expentirue in an organization live. Using APIs, we have connected iMProX’s data to Green Carbon’s Scope 2 to truly automate the Carbon Footprint recording process.

  • Carbon Footprint of Organization is divided into three scopes. Scope 1 refers to direct emissions from owned or controlled sources in an organization. Scope 2 refers to indirect emissions from purchased energy(electricity, water, gas, solar). Scope 3 refers to all other indirect emissions(e.g. from the supply chain to employee work commute)

  • In 2070, TGO will start enforcing organizations to report their carbon footprint or risk additional fees. Knowing your carbon footprint, also allows you to get one step closer to reducing your carbon emissions and work towards a Carbon-Neutral future.

  • In Thailand, based on TGO’s current standards, there are two ways that carbon footprint is measured. Carbon Footprint of Organization(CFO) is the total measurement of GHG emissions from the activities of an organization. Carbon Footprint of Product is the measurement of the GHG emissions in a specific product’s life cycle(Cradle-to-Grave).

  • Greenhouse gases are 7 gases that result from human activity that negatively affect Earth’s atmosphere and its inhabitants. These gases are as follows: Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Water Vapor (H2O), Fluorinated Gases(HFCs, PFC, SF6), Ozone (O3), and Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

  • By knowing your carbon footprint first, you are able to see where in your company
